Tiranga Dhokla Recipe

Ingredients

- 2 cup semolina (rava)  - 1 cup Curd  - 1 tbsp Ginger Paste  - 1 packet ENO  - 1 tbsp Asafoetida (hing)  - 1 tbsp Green Chilli Paste  - Salt as per taste  - Water as required  - 2 tbsp Oil  - 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder (haldi powder)

Radish

Ingredients

For Stuffing - 200 gm Peas  - 1 cup Coriander  - 1 tbsp Oil  - 1 tbsp Garlic  - Salt as per taste  - 1 tbsp Green Chili Paste  For Tadka - 3 tbsp Oil  - 1 tsp Mustard Seeds   - 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds (jeera)  - 8 to 10 Curry Leaves  - 1 cup Sesame Seeds (til)

Radish

Roast the semolina on low heat until golden brown and set it aside.

Step 1

Coarsely grind raw green peas and cook them with garlic and green chili paste.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, mix roasted semolina with mint leaves, ginger, asafoetida, green chili paste, curd, oil, and water to create a smooth batter.

Step 3

Add salt, coriander leaves, and cook for a few minutes.

Step 4

Add turmeric powder to one part of the batter to create a yellow-colored batter.

Step 5

Prepare a steamer and place a greased plate on top.

Step 7

Layer the batter with green peas mixture, white batter, and yellow batter. Steam for a few minutes until cooked.
